ORDER
Structure, Priorities, Guidelines
In our relationship with the Lord we are taught the supreme priority is to love God, and the second most important priority is to love others. In our relationships with others order helps meet the need for structure. When order is missing time is wasted looking for things, and what is truly important gets lost in the shuffle. A practical way to exhibit order in our lives is to develop routines that save time and the need to rethink actions.
"Everything should be done in a
fitting and orderly way."
- 1 Corinthians 14:40

Scripture Study Sheet
This study sheet has a brief description of the seed of Order, plus Scripture references related to that seed. Also has room for participants to write notes about each reference. The study sheet comes 3-up on a standard 8.5" x 11" page - just download, print out and split into three strips (approx. 3 5/8" wide each by 8.5" high.) If you're leading, you'll find the Leader's Reference Guide (shown below) helpful. Leader's Reference Guide
This guide has Bible references and brief descriptions of each passage for the seed of Order. Very useful if you're leading a study or discussion. Also, it's a helpful tool in personal study. This 8.5" x 11" reference sheet works well with the 3-up Scripture Study Sheet, highlighted above. 12 Seeds Bible Study

Ways to Apply the 12 Seeds
This sheet suggests ways to apply the 12.Seeds personally and with others. It can be used with the seed of Order as well as the rest of the 12.Seeds. This introductory page lists some general suggestions for application of the 12.Seeds personally, in your family, in small groups, and in staff or team meetings. If you are leading, you may want to start with this overview sheet before using the 5 Habits page below. Order - 5 Habits
This page includes prayers, thoughts and attitudes, words, actions and discussion questions to help you apply the seed of Order personally or with others. One way to use this page is to distribute it as a handout to help stimulate discussion in a small group setting. Note the discussion section at the bottom of the page. LifeSkills for Growth

Growing in Love
This discussion starter has the seed of Order as it's theme, with a brief story related to the seed. It is a half sheet (5.5" wide by 8.5" tall) printed on both sides. This can be used as an ongoing reminder of the seed after a complete study of the 12 Seeds book. Distribute any way you wish: as a bulletin insert, study sheet for a class or discussion group, handout when visiting people, etc. There's room at the bottom of the second side to add your own notes. Printing suggestions: Growing in Love comes front and back side-by-side on a full sheet. We recommend printing out on an 8.5" x 11" full sheet, then printing the front and back again on the other side of the paper. Split the sheet in two to yield two double-sided half sheets. |
